The stone is so called Black Rutilated Quartz. It's actually black tourmaline quartz.
It's a facette cut pear shape stone. It's originally made as a bead so it has a small drill hole.
I covered it with the silver design part.
The stone has some scratches that are common in rutilated quartz. Where the inclusions come up to the surface, it becomes scratches.
The design represents a tribal motif. I realized it also looks like a Kabuki make-up.
The body is made of oxidized silver 925 and I polished the surface to remove the patina partly.
It's a handmade one of a kind piece.
