This pendant features a rutilated quartz lined with onyx.
Because of the black background, the golden rutile looks amazing.
I made a textured and oxidized round cab of sterling silver with fine gold "hairs" fixed by Keum Boo.
It represents the similar look of the quartz.
Around the round cab I added scrolls decoration that make the piece look like Japanese Traditional taiko (drum) that is used in Japanese traditional music called Gagaku.
It would be your exotic everyday pendant.
