SOLD: Keum Boo silver necklace of the moon and blossoms motif
I got an inspiration from an ink painting by a Japanese artist.
I tried to express the monochrome world of the ink painting.
It's made by Keum Boo of fine silver foil on the sterling.
I applied LOS patina and washed it out to make a gradation.
The picture shows some white blossoms, maybe camelia, under the light of the waxing gibbous moon.
A beautiful 14mm mabe pearl and a 3mm Akoya pearl are featured.
Does it look like a kakejiku, a Japanese scroll art?
The chain length is 40cm + 5cm extender.
