The fine gold foil is fixed on the sterling silver sheet by Keum boo.
And then shakudo petals and silver leaves are Keum-Booed on the gold.
They are patinaed by Japanese traditional patina method called Iroage so that the petals became black.
The leaves are slightly patinaed by LOS to enhance the contrast.
The gold foil is textured by hand with a diamond point.
This piece is made featuring the special technique of Keum Boo and Japanese patination.
