The amethyst is a 10mm round one of which upper part is facette cut and the lower part (so called pavilion) is cut radially so that it shows interesting reflections.
The gold scrolls are made by the technique called Keum Boo that can fix fine gold foil on silver.
I also added gold leaf on the butterfly part using natural lacquer glue to show the wearing out effect.
The design is inspired by Art Deco style.
