The metal of the swallowtail (butterfly) is called Shakudo.
It's Japanese alloy of copper and gold.
I applied Keum Boo of gold foil on it and also applied Japanese patination called Iroage.
Iroage is a oxidizing method that the metal is boiled in the agent.
The black color of Shakudo is realized by this method.
It's a unique handmade jewelry.
