The layers of fine gold leaf are glued by surrogate Urushi (Japanese lacquer) that needs a bit long time to cure.
The detail can be a bit different from the photo. It's a handmade piece.
The ginkgo leaf is made of sterling silver and patinaed.
Then I applied fine gold leaf on it using Makie (Japanese lacquer work) technique.
The gold color nylon cord is attached.
The length is 45cm + 5cm extender.
