A transparent cabochon shows an interesting and beautiful effect when it's lined with mother-of-pearl.
I used an ordinary faceted oval citrine upside down and laid it on mother-of-pearl.
Therefore, it works as a cabochon with facets.
You can see the iridescence and the scintillation at the same time.
The motif is ginkgo leaves. They are a popular motif in all seasons.
